Job Title: Field Integration Engineer Location: Field-based across Kentucky Employment Type: Long-Term W2 position Company: TEKsystems About the Role: TEKsystems is hiring a Field Integration Engineer to support LTE and 5G wireless deployments across Kentucky. This is a field-based role where you'll use your laptop to configure, test, and activate Ericsson network equipment at cell sites. No climbing or heavy lifting-just solid technical work in the field. You'll be part of a team building out centralized network systems (C-RAN) that support next-gen wireless coverage. What You'll Be Doing: * Use your laptop to remotely integrate and commission Ericsson LTE/5G equipment * Connect and validate radios, antennas, and fiber links (no tower climbing required) * Run software-based tests and troubleshoot issues using network tools * Coordinate with remote teams to complete site activations * Document work and ensure everything meets performance standards What You Need to Bring: * Experience working with Ericsson RAN systems (LTE/5G) * Familiarity with remote integration tools and network testing software * Understanding of RF systems, fiber optics, and centralized RAN setups * Ability to work independently at field locations * Strong communication and problem-solving skills Work Conditions: * Field-based role with travel to cell sites across Kentucky * Work is laptop-driven, with light physical setup only * Outdoor environments and varying weather conditions * No climbing or tower work required Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
