Lead long range planning for the structure/interaction between the business strategy, organization, and business, application, data and technical architectures.

Essential Functions

  • Advanced experience with Enterprise Architecture tools like LeanIX, Sparx EA.
  • Responsible for translating business needs into architectural solutions (current and target state) and defining solutions to business problems through application of information technology.
  • Lead the overall architecture of enterprise systems.
  • Determine integrated architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure cloud platform and its offerings, especially Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices.
  • Expertise in common event processing stack like Kafka, Flink etc.
  • Lead establishment/implementation of standards/guidelines that drive the design of technology solutions including architecting/implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple and emerging platforms, operating systems/applications across the enterprise.
  • Track industry trends/maintains knowledge of new tech.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with API design and development (REST, GraphQL).
  • Understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization.
  • Experience with serverless computing and low-code platforms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Responsible for offering architectural guidance and reviews of strategic implementations.
  • Collaborate with team of architects in addressing business solutions, ensuring quality and integrity of architecture practices.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems and/or equivalent formal.

Minimum Experience

  • Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to apply basic computer concepts, theories, principles and methods to projects, business problems, issues, and/or questions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Independent worker but also able to collaborate with others.
  • Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver.
  • Ability to balance long term goals against immediate concerns in the areas of code maintainability, developer productivity and the customer experience.
  • Thinking outside the box, willingness to battle for good ideas, willingness to collaborate with team members.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Project management, system analysis and design experience is helpful.
  • Professional certification like TOGAF, Archimate or equivalent enterprise architecture certifications is highly desirable

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
