Position Summary: The Commercial Lending Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the Commercial Portfolio Management, Quality Control, and Servicing teams and provides compliance and risk oversight of the commercial lending process. This position facilitates communication and coordination of resources across all functions of Commercial Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directs and oversees Commercial Portfolio Management, Quality Control, and Servicing teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. Implements and maintains quality control procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and credit risks across the commercial loan lifecycle. Serves as the central point of coordination between Commercial Lending, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and other departments to ensure alignment and timely execution of loan processes. Evaluates and improves operational workflows and systems to enhance productivity, accuracy, and service delivery. Develops and maintains performance metrics and reporting tools to track team productivity, loan portfolio health, and operational effectiveness. Oversee the servicing of commercial loans, including payment processing, insurance and property tax tracking, escrow management, covenant tracking, and borrower communications. Recruits, trains, and mentors team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develops, updates, and enforces policies and procedures related to commercial lending operations to ensure consistency and compliance. Prepares for and supports internal and external audits and regulatory examinations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to findings. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support the growth and stability of the commercial lending portfolio.
