Job Summary

The Junior Account Executive will market Company products and services to public and private sector accounts in designated territory, both directly and as a team effort with other Account Executives, Specialists, and Sales Support Representatives as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist Account Executive(s) in prospecting, acquiring, servicing, and retaining high quality clients.
  • Assist Account Executive(s) with the sale of the full Pellera portfolio of offerings comprised of hardware, software and services.
  • Prospect, acquire, service and retain new clients.
  • Sell the full family of Pellera solutions in designated territory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and ensure timely communications with appropriate customer personnel including senior management, and partner/OEM personnel.
  • Assist Account Executive(s) in developing and executing strategies for effective competition in your customer set utilizing all Pellera resources.
  • On a customer need basis, engage Pellera Services personnel to achieve sales, and Services objectives.
  • Provide sales support to the assigned Account Executive(s) within their respective customer territory. Duties will include, but not limited to, registrations, special bids, in-depth use of SFDC, forecasting, proposal preparation, as well as coordination with the Deal Desk and Operations teams.
  • Foster, promote, and contribute to a positive team environment throughout the company.
  • Solicit and acquire signed agreements and appropriate paperwork from clients for purchase of company's products.
  • Ensure all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Periodic audits of client orders/paperwork will be performed.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on results as required by management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned additional responsibilities or projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Obtain and maintain appropriate professional product knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, contact, conduct presentations, conduct financial marketing, negotiate, close sales, and meet established quotas.
  • Confirmed ability to establish, maintain and retain loyal relationships while successfully managing service requirements of clients is critical for success in this position.
  • Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation are key to success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Self-provided transportation with appropriate licenses and insurance for making sales and services calls is required.
  • Ability to travel. Various means of travel will be required, including air travel.



Education and/or Experience



  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred.



Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:



  • Physical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.
  • Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.
  • Ability to travel. Various means of travel may be required, including auto and air travel. This position requires travel: Frequently
  • May be required to work irregular schedules including but not limited to as applicable: Nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and/or overtime.
