This role leads the Project Management Department at New Honor Society. They will play a pivotal part in ensuring strategically defined project scopes, efficient processes and workflow, and realistic timelines are in place to deliver consistently high-quality creative work. This role collaborates across Account, Creative, Studio, and Finance teams to meet overall agency goals in delivering quality work in an on-time and on-budget manner. This is a key agency role for someone who thrives at the intersection of resource management, process optimization, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Management Leadership:
- Lead the Project Management department, setting expectations for the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects across all accounts
- Define project approach, scope of work (SOW), timelines, delivery schedules, and estimates in collaboration with Department/Team Leads
- Manage the timely progression of larger-scale projects, organize and sets clear expectations for project deliverables
- Ensures clear and accurate communication and project documentation are maintained (e.g. project plan, status reports, internal meeting notes, change requests and resource requests)
- Enable knowledge-sharing and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle; if you see something that's not progressing on time and as expected, realign with team
- Oversee the resourcing and allocation of Creative and Studio teams, ensuring proper skillset and availability
- Provide oversight across large-scale and multi-workstream projects, proactively identifying risks and troubleshooting issues related to timelines, budgets, or resourcing
- Drive workflow improvements responding to agency and client needs
- Establish and maintain best practices, training materials, and process documentation (e.g., Egnyte server use, Teams communication, stock usage guidelines)
- Partner with IT to operationalize best practices for creative tool/communication platform usage
- Actively manages project timing and resource assignments in Project Management software
- Monitors project scope and informs Account partners of scope creep and impact on budget, ensuring accurate financial management of the project and portfolio
- Proactively identifies risks, monitors issues, and provides mitigation and contingency plans throughout the project lifestyle
- Distills complex information into a clear, concise format and provides to team and discipline leads as needed to aid decision making
- Effectively manages change and can influence team to adopt best practices and process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
- 8+ years of Project Management experience or in a similar role
- PMP Certification and/or SCRUM Master Certification a plus
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience managing and mentoring junior/mid-level talent
- Demonstrate effective communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Has the ability to provide big picture strategic thinking, vision and insights to drive big ideas and initiatives for clients and the agency
