Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position facilitates growth and profitability goals through an individual marketing and business development plan. Identifies sales opportunities for existing and prospective clients through sales management and calling programs, and determines the best product or service to meet business needs. Acquires new business loan and deposit relationships by leveraging centers of influence, community networking, and direct client contact. Works closely with banking partners and associates throughout the financial services relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Sales - Develops a business banking sales plan to achieve monthly sales and profitability objectives. Utilizes the Bank's prescribed process, methods, and tools throughout a variety of sales and marketing activities including telemarketing and outside sales calls. Maintains pipeline and portfolio reports on prospective and acquired clients.
  • Client Service - Provides information, answers inquiries, and resolves issues for clients concerning Bank products and services. Collects data to identify and address problems, involving other associates as necessary.
  • Relationship Development - Establishes a rapport with clients to identify business needs and leverage sales opportunities. Maintains productive relationships with Business Services partners and other corporate divisions, bringing sales partners into client relationships as needed to manage the total financial services relationship. Utilizes relationships with community organizations to identify potential deposit prospects, and builds a strong referral network through centers of influence.
  • Business Support - Supports Bank initiatives and business strategies. Identifies tools or methods to enhance service and referral performance. Manages risk related to deposit products, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and maintaining a strong product knowledge base.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Outside/Direct Sales in a banking or Financial Services environment OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Outside/Direct Sales in a banking or Financial Services environment

RequiredSkill(s): Financial analysis and credit underwriting skills, Skilled in sales ability, techniques, and delivery, Ability to drive frequently to other offices, Bank clients, etc. in personal transportation
