Position Title: IT Project Manager

Division: Advancia Government Services

Location: Fort Leonard Wood, MO

Position Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) shall provide contract management consistent with the management plan submitted in the contractor's proposal. The PM will be the primary point of contact between the government client and the company's management. PM will be responsible for managing all daily operations, problem solving, and submitting required reports to the government. Position contingent on contract award.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations at Fort Leonard Wood, managing and maintaining 3,900+ computer systems, A/V systems, servers, and peripherals for student training classrooms.
  • Act as a liaison between Government and contractor
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Create and submit both weekly and monthly reports, per the contractual requirements
  • Manage personnel, including problem solving and reporting issues to company operations manager
  • Manage contract funding/expenditures.
  • Attend briefings, meetings, and conferences as required
  • Participate in the hiring process by scheduling and conducting interviews
  • Maintain the government's equipment and software licensing inventory

Education & Experience Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years documented experience in directing and managing a multi-functional IT organization
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
  • Must have valid Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of IT and AV
  • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions
  • Highly Skilled in verbal and written communications to conduct meeting, execute plans, and prepare reports
  • Must demonstrate innovation, excellent communication and organization skills, and a high level of customer service
  • Must be proficient in MS office and other software systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US passport
  • Subject to background check

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Some walking and standing required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds
  • Most of the work is performed in-doors
  • Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
  • Requires standing for periodically
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend
