Make banking a Fifth Third better GENERAL FUNCTION: The Sr. Corporate Investigator is responsible for investigating actual, alleged, and emerging incidents of threats, violence to include bank robberies and property crimes, and other disruptions in the workplace. These investigations address an array of concerning behaviors by current or former employees, contractors, customers, clients, visitors, guests, and others, that threaten the safety and well-being of persons engaged in company business, disrupt company operations, or cause harm to the company, its assets, or its reputation. When appropriate, the Sr. Corporate Investigator will partner with Legal, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Security, and others to investigate reports of workplace violence and to formulate and implement plans to effectively mitigate risks of violence and other disruptions. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sr. Corporate Investigator is principally responsible for investigating reports of workplace violence, including bullying, harassment, threats, assaults, stalking, inappropriate or unusual communications, intimate partner violence, and other troubling situations.
