Take your creative ideas from the drawing board to deliver powerful solutions. You'll collaborate with multi-functional teams to determine our infrastructure needs and product specifications.

Your Impact

  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment and packaging
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified Cisco designs
  • Directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
  • Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program) + 3 years of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience, Bachelors + 2 years of relevant experience or Masters + 0 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include mechanical engineering or a related program, or holders of equivalent academic certifications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX)
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++) for automation or data analysis is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
  • Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with an extended team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with basic simulation/analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD, ANSYS).
