*Job Description: *Our client has initiated a high-priority project to replace its legacy workforce management system, Compass-a JDA-based solution built on Blue Yonder. This mission-critical system supports every store, distribution center, and employee across the U.S. and Canada. The replacement will be Legion, a modern SaaS Workforce Management (WFM) solution, marking a strategic shift from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based platform. The project is in its early stages and will require strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure success.
*Description: *We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Lead / Technical Architect to support this implementation. This role will be instrumental in defining and executing the integration strategy, working closely with developers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless connectivity across enterprise systems. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. Integration Strategy & Architecture *Design end-to-end integration architecture between Legion and enterprise systems (HRIS, Payroll, Time & Attendance, POS). *Ensure scalable, API-first, near real-time data exchange across platforms. 2. Legacy System Assessment & Migration Planning *Analyze existing JDA interfaces and dependencies. *Develop migration plans for data and integrations, including scheduling rules and labor forecasts. 3. Requirements Gathering & Design Leadership *Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and Operations to define integration requirements. *Document data sources, business logic, and compliance rules. 4. Vendor Coordination *Act as the primary technical liaison with Legion and other third-party vendors. *Validate integration designs and ensure adherence to enterprise standards. 5. Middleware & API Management *Oversee middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services). *Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring. 6. Data Migration Execution *Lead data extraction, cleansing, and transformation from JDA to Legion. *Ensure accurate mapping and validation of migrated data. 7. Testing & Validation *Define and execute integration testing plans (unit, system, UAT). *Ensure traceability and accuracy of data flows. 8. Cutover & Go-Live Support *Develop and manage integration cutover plans. *Provide hypercare support post go-live. 9. Post-Go-Live Monitoring *Set up dashboards and alerts for integration health. *Implement proactive error detection and performance tuning. 10. Security & Compliance *Ensure secure data transmission and compliance with PII, GDPR, and labor laws. *Support SSO and identity management integrations. 11. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer *Create detailed integration documentation and runbooks. *Train internal IT teams for ongoing support. 12. Stakeholder Communication *Provide regular updates to project leadership. *Raise risks and coordinate across cross-functional teams *Qualifications:* *Proven experience in technical architecture and integration leadership *preferably in WFM or HRIS systems, and payroll platforms *Hands-on experience with middleware platforms and API management. *Strong understanding of SaaS implementations and legacy system migrations. *Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. *Experience with Legion, JDA (Blue Yonder), Oracle HCM, ADP, Workday, or Kronos is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
