Esports Coach (part-time)

2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.

4. Coaching Duties

• Demonstrate past or current coaching practices/schedules
• Prepare athletes for competition
• Recruiting/scouting of future athletes
• Oversee fundraising efforts
• Demonstrate communication and supervisory skills to ensure team rules/regulations regarding conduct and eligibility are clearly communicated and followed
• Knowledge of gaming and activities associated with the Esports
• Knowledge of technical aspects and willingness to continue to learn and examine new ideas pertinent to Esports
• Model good sportsmanship behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards opposing team, fans, parents, officials, spectators and community
• Help grow and expand Esports program

Minimum Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• Prior knowledge or participation in Esports

• CPR/AED

This position reports to: Health, Wellness and Recreation Manager

Salary would be a stipend of $5000/year
