Here's what you will do:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure parts are adequately restocked and are meeting our Power inventory targets.
  • Manage current inventory levels for the Power business unit and conduct demand planning.
  • Leverage advanced programming techniques to develop automated tools for reviewing and analyzing material usage, optimizing lead time insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to ensure optimal material quantities are maintained.
  • Determine business material needs and technical requirements, using data analytics and automation to create action plans that mitigate risks and ensure appropriate stock availability for assets.
  • Review and maintain critical spares utilizing automation and analytics.
  • Independently monitor inventory movement through database management and data analysis techniques to ensure material usage is accurately captured and inventory records are timely and precise.
  • Implement and oversee automated processes related to inventory transactions using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and programming solutions to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Investigate and resolve any associated material clearing issues to ensure project costs and inventory levels are accurate.
  • Independently investigate inventory issues, identifying the root cause of problems and recommend reasonable solutions.
  • Lead inventory counts across various inventory stocking locations.
  • Develop and implement automated inventory counting systems across various stocking locations, improving accuracy and efficiency.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review applicable inventory systems, inventory levels, and other related items.
  • Support the financial analysis and reporting responsibilities for inventory to ensure the business unit adheres to Enbridge's and stakeholders' reporting requirements.
  • Analyze historical data and strategically monitor inventory levels to ensure material movement is in line with forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards utilizing real time data to create visibility for stakeholders.
  • Understand SOX controls and ensure inventory documentation satisfies required control points.
  • Liaise with external and internal audit throughout annual SOX audit.
  • Understand regulatory requirements across state, provincial and federal jurisdictions and assist with audit and non-conformance resolution.
  • Use the programs MS Excel, MS Access, Microsoft Power Point, Power BI, Power Automate, Visual Basic, Python, Maximo and Oracle Cloud as an advanced user.
  • 30% travel to project locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Who you are:

  • Must have four (4) years of experience as an Inventory Analyst, Buyer, Supply Chain Specialist, or related role.
  • The four (4) years of experience must be experience in the use of supply chain management for renewable energy (wind and solar) and the ability to use the programs MS Excel, MS Access, Microsoft Power Point, Power BI, Power Automate, Visual Basic, Python, Maximo and Oracle Cloud as an advanced user.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
