Description

MDU Resources is excited to provide on-the-job experiences for students to apply their field of study and to identify potential candidates for future opportunities in our company. The exact beginning and ending dates are negotiable. Hours may vary from 20-25 hours per week dependent on business need and college schedule. Candidates may be able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer and school breaks. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in a day to day work routine for self and others.

This position may be eligible for scholarship funding.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a major in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Bismarck, ND corporate office.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Currently enrolled sophomore or junior in undergraduate study program.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This internship provides the opportunity to assist in the management of enterprise-level IT assets. Tasks include:



  • Assist with software utilization data, licensing, and lifecycle processes.
  • Data analytic projects.
  • Assist with vendor management.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.



Hourly Wage: $18.50
