Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree in related discipline or the equivalent is required. In addition, a minimum of 1 year of directly related experience is required. J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Senior Quality Technician for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Precision Structures & Optics (PSO), you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for refining and completing the skills necessary to accomplish first piece, in-process, receiving and final inspection on any product, component, or part, assuring compliance with all customer specifications, requirements, and tolerances. The Quality Technician performs overall quality inspection for machined parts to include dimensional and visual inspection techniques to ensure they meet the company's quality standards for the manufacture of Beryllium products for use in the most demanding applications, across the aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries. Our products are used in high performance sensing systems for targeting and acquisition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and are hardened for the battlefield environment. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
