Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. As a Quality Specialist for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Precision Structures & Optics (PSO), you'll be a member of a cross functional team primarily responsible for providing Quality Support and Oversight of 16-PIGA Manufacturing, reviewing 16-PIGA data packs prior to delivery to the customer, interfacing with our customer to address any Quality concerns, internal audits of 16-PIGA manufacturing areas, trend analysis of applicable manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement in Quality Inspection areas, assuring that effective root cause and corrective actions are developed, and supporting other quality concerns/initiatives, as needed. The Quality Specialist will play a significant role ensuring all processes adhere to quality standards for the manufacture of Beryllium products for use in the most demanding applications, across the aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries. Our products are used in high performance sensing systems for targeting and acquisition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and are hardened for the battlefield environment. Workplace Options: This position is fully on-site. While on-site, you will be a part of the Cullman, AL facility. Target salary range: USD $89,221.00/Yr. - USD $96,540.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
