In this collaborative role, you will be a pivotal member of the Operations team and be responsible for planning and scheduling workflow of component repairs. The position will be responsible for generating and maintaining repair orders, scheduling delivery dates based on assembly schedules and maintaining regular communications with vendors and operations on schedule changes.


Job Duties:



  • Create detailed production schedules for specific product lines.
  • Maintain and communicate the master schedule to ensure synergy with revenue forecast.
  • Analyze and monitor product line capacity and make recommendations on expansion/efficiency to ensure adequate capacity.
  • Ensure bill of material (BOM) items are ordered and monitored to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prioritize orders based on customer due date requirements and process capacity.
  • Estimate ship & production quantities by product type each month, monitor and report on progress.
  • Provide timely feedback on customer service delivery date changes.
  • Work with the supervisors on production goals daily.
  • Attend daily production meetings listing requirements for all shifts.
  • Monitor/report on WIP status.
  • Material Expedite as needed and OSP (outside processing) Management.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 3 years planning & scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with master scheduling.
  • Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 quality requirements.
  • Strong analytical, computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
  • APICS Certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
