Summary

Play & Park Structures, a PlayCore company, is seeking a high-performing and relationship driven Recreation Consultant to lead our business development efforts across the state of Utah. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who is passionate about building community, improving childhood development through play, and delivering full-service, consultative solutions. The successful candidate will thrive on relationship-building, territory growth, and turning meaningful conversations into long-term partnerships. Previous playground sales experience is helpful but not required, we're looking for someone with the heart for impact and the skills to execute.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal leaders, architects, school districts, early childhood providers, housing developers, and community organizations
  2. Present customized proposals, designs, and project plans that align with customer goals, timelines, and budgets
  3. Conduct 10-15 in-person sales meetings per week throughout Utah; occasional evening meetings and strategic travel required
  4. Manage a healthy pipeline of current accounts while actively prospecting for new opportunities
  5. Consistently meet or exceed territory revenue goals and activity KPIs
  6. Maintain accurate sales tracking and forecasting in CRM system
  7. Serve as a post-sale advocate for clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and longterm partnership

  • Comfortable presenting in front of small groups
  • Willingness to learn technical aspects of playground design and installation
