DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is your opportunity to make an impact on the commonwealth by providing professional and administrative work for the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) within the Office of the Budget. This office performs complex compliance, financial and performance reviews of grants, agreements, contracts, consultant activities, and payment requests for economic, cultural, civic, and historical improvement projects for the RACP in the Governor's Budget Office. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and understanding how to draft the RACP Grant Agreement and approve project specific Special Conditions, which are incorporated into the RACP Grant Agreements. The incumbent reports directly to an RACP Administrator responsible for the Grant & Special Conditions Unit. You will have the opportunity to routinely interact with the program's Consultants, Grantee's/Sub-Grantee's Project Team, Application Assistance & Scope Development staff, Consultant Liaison staff, Payment Request Processing staff, and Risk & Compliance staff. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with
occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. - Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics; and a bachelor's degree in community and economic development, public administration, business administration or related field; or
- An equivalent combination of training and experience that includes one year of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
