ABOUT THE JOB
- Lead and develop a team of Warehouse Managers, Supervisors, and up to 200 associates across multiple facilities.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans.
- Build leadership capability at all levels, ensuring bench strength and succession readiness.
- Drive change management initiatives and promote cross-site collaboration in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices across all warehouse and shipping functions.
- Embed daily management systems to monitor performance, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve service levels across all sites.
- Leverage ERP systems (JDE) to enhance visibility, accuracy, and control of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Strengthen the connection between the digital warehouse (ERP) and physical movement of goods, ensuring real-time data integrity and operational alignment.
- Support future initiatives focused on warehouse digitization, including automation, system upgrades, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting, root cause analysis, and process discipline.
- Manage service disruptions and implement corrective actions to minimize operational impact.
- Monitor and improve KPIs related to order fulfillment, shipping accuracy, inventory turns, and labor productivity.
- Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits, training, and risk assessments to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field required.
- Professional certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, Lean, PMP) preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.
- At least 3 years with responsibility for large teams in multiple locations, and multiple layers of management.
- Demonstrated success in talent development, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in high-speed fulfillment operations within a CPG or food/beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Prior involvement in warehouse digitization initiatives, including automation, system integration, and digital process transformation.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of Lean principles, Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Up to 50% travel required across Midwest plant locations.
