Position Title Personal Lines Production Manager Department: BayCoast Insurance Level: 107 FLEXIBLE WORK PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY CODE: Hybrid Work (HW), Flextime (FLT), & Compressed Work Week (CWW) Primary functions Responsible for managing policy sales and overseeing the sales and remarketing team including setting and monitoring sales goals, facilitating the professional development of the team. Develop and implement New Business opportunities. Demonstrates leadership skills and continually leads by example. Actively supports and incorporates company mission and core values into daily activities. Major Responsibilities
- Assist Personal Lines producers and production assistants regarding individual underwriting situations including questions with coverage and procedures.
- Manages and works closely with the remarket team and account managers to retain clients within the agency.
- Sets and monitors sales objectives
- Participates in New Business opportunities.
- Participates in reviewing, remarketing, and cross selling existing business.
- Provide sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans, while keeping up to date with industry changes and developments.
- Reviews quotes from the Personal Lines staff to assist with accurately quoting, upselling, and closing the sale.
- Manage, monitor, and participate in quoting accounts in the pipeline to ensure prompt turnaround time for the producers.
- Conduct account reviews on individual book of business - Complete account reviews and contact clients via phone. Call 100% of personal clients to review and retain their business. This entails:
- Call to offer an account review
- Verify contact information
- Review potential discounts and coverage gaps, including lines of business not written with the agency
- Cross-Sell and upsell when appropriate.
- Attend and facilitate PL sales meetings and prepare meeting agendas and reports.
- Audit Staff to ensure procedures are followed and information is inputted into the agency management system accurately and correctly.
- Maintains electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner with full policy detail, and use Applied Epic for all notes and activities.
- Attends appropriate internal and external meetings relating to banking, the mortgage department, and insurance.
- Attends and participates in offsite branch events or insurance related seminars.
- Works with marketing and management to develop and monitor campaigns.
- Organizes, facilitates, and participates in meetings with process improvement teams.
- Reviews and updates procedures for the department annually or as needed.
- Handles Employees Timecards and vacation requests.
- Conducts annual reviews of employees on the PL Production Team.
- Organizes meetings with Insurance Carrier representatives and staff to keep abreast of changes with the company and within the industry.
- Orders office supplies as needed and is the liaison when issues arise with office equipment.
- Manages the monthly checking account for the branch and sends to accounting.
- Manages and tracks Salesforce cases and leads coming in from our website and marketing sources, and distributes them to the team.
- Tracks sales production and monitors performance by calculating the success ratio for the producers.

Qualifications 1. Solid understanding of agency procedures, insurance policies, and insurance products. Ability to provide mentorship and strong leadership qualities. Excellent interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. 2. Has the ability to perform multiple tasks in complex, fast paced, working environment. 3. Possesses above average computer skills. 4. Has knowledge and experience necessary for independent decision-making ability. 5. Must be licensed per state requirements. 6. Attend educational seminars. Some travel may be required. May work at any branch location as needed.
