POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Property Control Specialist supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Property Control Specialist is responsible for inventory maintenance and logistics of the tool room, equipment, and supplies.



  • Maintains the tool room and supply inventories.
  • Provides professional customer service to all personnel.
  • Provides cradle-to-grave accountability for parts and assets.
  • Prepares reports for damaged or destroyed property.
  • Provides inventory to management team at assigned intervals.
  • Issues parts and materials to responsible personnel.
  • Orders parts and materials based on depleted amounts.
  • Provides updates on back-ordered parts and supplies.
  • Notifies Supply Manager when parts and supplies are critically low.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Conducts market research on parts, availability, and costs.
  • Prepares and delivers calibration required assets to a centralized location for pick-up by vendor.
  • Ensures that all equipment is maintained per manufacturer specs.
  • Inputs new part information into inventory management system to include but limited to: manufacturers part number, national stock number (if applicable), item description, default source of supply, default fund source, hazmat code, shelf-life information, and default location.
  • Provides briefings as requested for management and government teams.
  • Provides supply chain updates.
  • Researches and maintains knowledge of model/product upgrades.
  • Facilitates the receipt of all incoming and outgoing parts/hardware.
  • Manages all aspects of each asset to include: shelf life tracking, storage, and preservation requirements; documentation; and provides the maintenance requirement of each asset while in storage to the Supply Manager.
  • Assists the Supply Manager in the exchange, sale, and or scrapping of outdated, obsolete, or unnecessary equipment and supplies.
  • Assists management team in the setup and takedown of IP Phones, PCs, laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, speakers, headsets, fax machines, printers, MFPs, plotters, scanners, projectors, cameras, TVs, etc.
  • Packages and prepares equipment and supplies for transport.
  • Builds equipment racks and boxes.
  • Labels equipment/racks/boxes/containers for storage to facilitate equipment/supply location.
  • Labels and stores corrosives, flammables, and other dangerous materials in accordance with governing regulations.
  • Performs other related duties associated to the job classification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Four years' experience in supply; two of which should be in a base operations support role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Two years' experience with electronic inventory management systems.
  • Two years' experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • At least one year procurement experience in Government contracts.
  • Must possess the ability to perform assigned work tasks with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand American English to an eighth-grade level for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings, as per contract requirement.
  • Must possess valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand trucks, carts, and other equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Working knowledge of property related FAR and DFAR clauses.
