Role Overview:
Are you passionate about thinking like a developer? Have you explored tools like Cursor, Llama, or GraphRAG? Have you built your own agent? If so, we're looking for someone like you!

As a Developer Documentation Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating content that enables developers to effectively build on and extend Data Cloud. You'll collaborate closely with our content architect, content strategist, as well as PM and Engineering stakeholders to understand developer needs and deliver industry-leading documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain developer-focused documentation for Data Cloud, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Use AI tools for content creation, review, and research to enhance documentation quality.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.

  • Advocate for customers by ensuring documentation meets their needs effectively.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional writing with a focus on developer documentation.

  • Strong ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience using AI tools for content creation and review.

  • Excellent communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback.

  • Growth mindset with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Familiarity with source control software like Perforce or Git.

  • Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen.

  • Experience with DITA and structured authoring methodologies.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and its ecosystem.

  • Understanding of Agile development processes.
