HJF is seeking a Senior Director, HJF - San Antonio to work under the direction of HJF's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (EVP/COO) and collaborate closely with the VP of Strategic Initiatives, the VP of USU Operations and VP of Domestic Operations to provide onsite support and senior-level HJF representation for existing business, while also identifying new opportunities within, and associated with, HJF's San Antonio, TX, operations. The incumbent identifies key gaps in local and surrounding area's military medical research-both dependent and independent of US military partnership-then prepares and implements plans for HJF to best fill those gaps, including leading onsite efforts to capture targeted work, while extending Portfolio Leads' reach by supporting relevant organizational staff in furtherance of ensuing operational efforts. Mindful of HJF's operations in San Antonio that support clients' clinical efforts, medical research, and educational programs, the incumbent manages complex relationships with US military, other USG, and Civilian partner agencies in the San Antonio and surrounding region, with the goal of growing and diversifying funding opportunities that advance the HJF mission; achieving operational excellence; and facilitating key research endeavors. Significant local and regional travel required. The incumbent may participate in some clinical research activities as needed to achieve these goals. This position will be in support of HJF operations in San Antonio, Texas. The Henry M. Work Environment * This position will take place primarily in an office setting. Compensation * The annual salary range for this position is $173,600 - $248,000. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, education, etc. Benefits
