Provide loan servicing support to all colleagues within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Division as well as any other colleagues within the Bank requiring assistance. This support includes researching loan documents and ordering pay-off statements assuring the proper collection of fees (prepayment, release, etc.) due and insuring that only the appropriate collateral is released, working directly with customers and colleagues to solve problems and provide superior customer service, prepares various periodic and ad hoc reports and maintain system data accuracy.

Job Accountabilities

  • Researches loan documents and orders pay off statements ensuring the proper collection of fees (i.e. Prepayment, release recording, etc.) and in some cases calculates and prepares partial release pay-off statements for borrowers, closing agents and attorneys. Submit borrower financial information, partial release information or other pertinent information to the Service Center for imaging to assure accurate documentation for third party review and audits. Upon request, reviews automated collateral Release Forms which have conflicting document information to assure only the appropriate collateral is release according to credit policy guidelines.
  • Research and process specialized billing and payment requests
  • Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established Associated Banc-Corp policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial lending and regulatory guidelines. Maintain current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to fully comply with the same.
  • Provide support for the preparation of various reports by collecting information, pulling data and/or compiling data for the Commercial Real Estate Division, such as Past Due Report, Monthly Production Summary Reports and Pipeline Reports.
  • Provides support to CRE customers by answering inquiries, solving problems and obtaining answers to complex questions to ensure superior customer service. Support CRE colleagues by researching technical questions and inquiries and resolving any problems. Support includes preparation of maintenance forms for system updates, such as conversion from construction to income producing and updates to loan payment processes.
  • Quarterly, collect, prepare packages and distribute the CRE Division Criticized / Classified Asset & Construction Loan Status Update Reports.
  • Responsible for the annual property inspection process, including identification of accounts required for property inspections to be completed plus submits individual inspection report forms for imaging and updates the tracking list. Sends monthly reminder messages with updated tracking lists for each CRE Market to the Market Manager, Relationship Managers and the Portfolio Managers. Prepares a written summary of the project results and submits the summary report to the CRE Division Head with copies to the CRE Credit & Administration Manager, CRE Loan Administration/Closing Manager, CRE Loan Servicing Manager & Credit Risk Review Supervisor.

Education

High School or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting or Real Estate. Preferred.

Experience

2-4 years Commercial, Commercial Real Estate and/or Mortgage loan servicing. Required.
2-4 years Commercial Finance, law, documentation, accounting and/or data systems. Required.

2-4 years Commercial Real Estate experience. Preferred.

2-4 years bank systems knowledge and experience (Nautilus, Fiserv, All Pro). Preferred.
