Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Oracle HCM Enterprise Software Developer to work in our Information Technology department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.

You will report to the Lead of Business Application Systems organization and maintain enterprise applications including Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud. You will be involved in programming and scripting in different languages and systems.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Maintain enterprise applications including Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud. Will program and use scripting in different languages and systems. May work in JavaScript, HTML, T-SQL, PL/SQL, C#, Visual Builder Studio, and Java in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Design, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Selects and uses tools and methods to clarify the user experience, users' characteristics and tasks, and identifies the technical, organizational and physical environment in which complex products or systems will operate.
  • Develop expertise in database concepts, object and data modeling techniques and design principles and a detailed knowledge of database architectures and software.
  • Perform database and web/middleware tasks independently from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result, using REST and WebAPI.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:



  • Level 3 - Bachelor's Degree computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field and 5 years' relevant experience; Advanced Degree computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field and 2 years' relevant experience; or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 4 - Bachelor's Degree computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field and 9 years' relevant experience; Advanced Degree computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field and 6 years' relevant experience; or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicants are subject to the requirements of DOE O 142.3B, Unclassified Foreign National Access Program
  • Experience maintaining enterprise applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Experience with database concepts and design principles.


The ideal candidate will possess:



  • Experience with other Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Experience with object-oriented development languages (C#, Java).
  • Oracle Redwood UI


Job Information:



  • The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($93,204 - $191,076) / Level 4 ($111,888 - $229,284). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.


Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this classification, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, use hands to handle materials, manipulate tools, keyboard, and type, reach with hands and arms, and operate job-related equipment.
