JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Brandywine Linguistics & Music Perception (BLiMP) Lab seeks research assistants (RAs) for projects exploring the effects of individual attitudes on interpersonal communication and cooperation. This is a part-time opening, typically 10 hours per week, paid at a rate of $15/hour. Job Duties Duties vary considerably from project to project, but may include:
Work will be conducted in the social science labs at Penn State Brandywine and via remote work. RAs work in small teams and individually. This role is well-suited for students or recent graduates in psychology, communications, or other social sciences. Experience with psychology, experimental design, quantitative or qualitative data analysis, and languages/linguistics is valued but not required. Successful completion of research tasks may lead to opportunities to develop original research projects.
