The Analytics, Bioanalytics and Formulations group at Novartis San Diego is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and detailed oriented scientist to support biotherapeutics drug discovery and gene therapies development. In this laboratory-based Senior Scientist I role, you will apply your hands-on expertise to the bioanalysis of large molecule therapeutics, including gene therapies, cell therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, bi-trispecific/ScFV antibodies, oligonucleotides/siRNA and proteins. You will work with teams of research and discovery scientists to develop and implement stage-appropriate large molecule assays for characterization and to support pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and immunogenicity studies for numerous projects as they progress through the research and development pipeline. Additionally, you will contribute to new technology platform evaluations to improve support for challenging new therapeutic modalities. Job Description Key Responsibilities:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
