JOB SUMMARY
The Management Analyst works among the Business Process Ops team and helps promote business quality across all projects. Acts as project manager to ensure timely submissions and maintaining pace with all deliverables for various projects within Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) as well as new ERP systems which involve SPA and other central offices. Liaises with many different teams for system programming using project management tools. Facilitates with normal cadence of policy reviews related to SPA activities. Makes suggestions to leadership investigating ways to work more efficiently and effectively with SPA. The ideal candidate will also support SPA by managing and maintaining its various SharePoint sites, ensuring content accuracy, user accessibility, and overall site functionality to enhance communication and collaboration. Preference will be given to those with PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification and prior experience in large-scale IT project implementation.

This position is mostly remote and will be in the office once per quarter and as needed. Must live in the State of Texas.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required



  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management information systems, or related field.


  • Experience
    5 years experience in performing analysis of automated procedures and designing procedure manuals to support transaction processing.


JOB DUTIES



  • Conducts analysis to ascertain the most efficient, effective and productive processes to accomplish department goals and objectives.
  • Recommends methods to ensure maximum utilization of facilities and human resources. Identifies systems specifications and/or technical changes to procedures for transition and/or development of automated processes.
  • Documents business and systems requirements of departments for use in development of processes and systems.
  • Plans equipment layout, work flow, and other measures (e.g. accident prevention measures) to maintain efficient and safe utilization of department.
  • Provides guidance in procedural development process to department administration.
  • Develops desktop procedure manuals and process controls to ensure effective transaction processing.
  • Prepares cost estimates for assigned projects.
  • Manages multiple projects determining project scope, assigning, monitoring and directing the work responsibilities of other project team members, teaching/training team members techniques on financial data analysis, develops project plan strategy and implements the work plan to achieve financial goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
