The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for one full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position(s) in Marketing. The start date for the position(s) is August 2026.

Assistant Professor of Marketing

What you will do:

The successful candidate is expected to maintain a record of accomplishment with high-quality/premiere peer-reviewed published academic research in his/her field. The position consists of 40% teaching, 40% research, and 20% service. The normal teaching load consists of 4 courses per year. This is typically reduced to 3 courses during the initial years of the tenure track appointment. Depending on departmental or program needs, the assigned classes may be on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

• A Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing from an AACSB university prior to the position's start date.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in successfully teaching marketing management courses and other mainstream marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in various modalities supported by teaching experience, student evaluations, and documentation.

Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)

• Demonstrated ability to successfully teach digital marketing and related analytical courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in various modalities as supported by syllabi, university teaching evaluations, references, and other supporting documentation.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in research, as evidenced by publications in high-quality refereed journals, presentations at academic conferences, or other intellectual contributions.
• At least 2 semesters or 2 courses of successful teaching experience at the university level before, during, or after doctoral program.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $ 150,000-$170,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
