As the Director of the Mitel Program Management team, you'll direct a portfolio of strategic, complex, and multidisciplinary programs that significantly accelerate Mitel's business impact. You'll set program strategy and lead program teams to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements across Engineering & Product organizations.

This position is a people manager role operating at both strategic and tactical levels to ensure critical initiatives are delivered in a fast-paced, scaled agile environment. You'll also strategically adjust your portfolio to effectively respond to complex and changing organizational and environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of program and project managers across multiple software, hardware, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Define program roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with executive leadership

  • Develop KPIs and track progress to ensure on-time and quality driven delivery

  • Coordinate with product management, engineering, operations, finance, and sales teams to align priorities and mitigate risks

  • Drive standardization of project management methodologies and tools across the organization

  • Identify program dependencies across the portfolio and proactively resolve issues to maintain momentum

  • Remove blockers for your team and the Program Management Office

  • Present program updates and insights to senior stakeholders and executive leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or experience in lieu of education

  • 10+ years of program/project management experience in the telecom sector

  • PMP and Agile certifications

  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action

  • Empathetic leader who can inspire high-performing teams

  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Results-oriented with relentless focus on execution

  • Proven experience leading multi-million dollar programs with cross-functional teams

  • Strong understanding of telecommunications industry

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities
