Location:HealthPark Medical Center -9981 So HealthPark CircleFort Myers FL 33908 Department: Cardiac Cath Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/7:00:00 AM to 5:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$31.90 - $41.48 / hour SummaryThe Cardiovascular Technologist plays a key role in supporting Cardiologists during invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab. This position is responsible for performing all aspects of circulating, scrubbing, recording, and imaging duties, while also providing safe, direct patient care and equipment support in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac or electrophysiology procedures, ensuring readiness of equipment and suppliesPerform circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring roles, including ECG interpretation and real-time data captureAdminister medications under appropriate protocols and monitor patient responsesInterpret and respond to hemodynamic and electrophysiological changes during proceduresOperate and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment with minimal supervisionMaintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocolsProvide patient-centered care, comfort, and education throughout the procedural processBe part of a leading cardiac team where your skills save lives every day. Experience:Minimum of 1 year of CVT experience required. Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
