Your Opportunity:Taylor Print Impressions is seeking aGeneral Managerfor our Byron, MN facility. This role will oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, service, quality assurance, and safety. You will be responsible for cost effective management of resources and driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multi-shift manufacturing facility with full P&L accountability.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans and annual budgets focused on profitability and growth.
  • Oversee inventory, warehousing, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify and act on areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Support utilization of internal systems and process improvements.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define the business's strategic direction, including decisions on capital investments, product priorities, and target markets.
  • Lead and develop a customer-centric team.

You Must Have:

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in the print industry.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, change management, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications and general PC skills.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of direct mail strongly preferred.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $165k - $180k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
