Position Summary

Provides leadership to the Clinical Nutrition Department (Academic Division - Pediatric Services) through the direction and management of overall operations of all pediatric clinical nutrition staff, including clinical dietitians, dietetic technicians, clinic registrars, and administrative support. Provides oversight to the monitoring and evaluation of quality of clinical nutrition care received by patients and regulatory performance improvement processes for areas of responsibility. Provides oversight of clinical nutrition programs to ensure that financial targets are achieved to support the overall business goals of the academic division. Time allocation is as follows: 15% dedicated to management responsibilities for the Johns Hopkins Graduate Coordinated Program in Dietetics; 85% dedicated to departmental responsibilities.



Qualifications:



  • Work requires completion of a master's degree in dietetics, business administration or a closely related field. Must also attend the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education Self-Study/Site. Visit Workshop within 12 months of employment/promotion date.
  • Licensure as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist by the Maryland State Board of Dietetic Practice is required.
  • Ten years of previous experience including primary responsibility for a nutrition specialty area or managing a clinical education program.


Salary Range: $116,000 per year - $150,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
