Job Title: School-Based Mental Health Specialist

SUMMARY:

As a School-Based Mental Health Specialist, you'll provide compassionate, integrated mental health and substance abuse services directly within local schools. In this vital role, you'll support students' emotional well-being, help them navigate life's challenges, and connect them with the tools they need to thrive - in the classroom and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Deliver direct mental health and substance abuse counseling services in a school setting.

  Build trusting relationships with students and families to foster open communication and engagement.

  Develop action plans and support strategies tailored to students' unique needs.

  Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to coordinate services and resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  

  Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Mental Health, Social Work, or a closely related field.

  Experience: Less than six months of related experience - perfect for an early-career professional ready to grow.

  Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two points.

Salary Range: Minimum $34.11/hour - Maximum $56.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
