Snowflake is seeking an Executive Principal Recruiter to drive Leadership recruiting for our engineering organization. The position requires a strategic mindset and deep expertise in technical recruiting to help shape the future of our engineering organization. The ideal candidate will create outcomes across the engineering organization by driving visibility, deep leader partnership, and strong candidate attraction and activation strategies. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our engineering organization, leading successful searches for critical engineering leadership talent and providing strategic guidance to hiring managers and executives. You'll also foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the recruiting team, while building and maintaining strong relationships with executive stakeholders.

This role requires in-office attendance in our Menlo Park office.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Lead successful searches for critical engineering leadership talent, demonstrating a proven track record of placing highly sought-after individuals in key roles.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive senior talent acquisition strategies, including global senior candidate pipeline management.

  • Provide strategic guidance and act as a subject matter expert to hiring managers and executives on market trends, compensation, and competitive landscapes for senior engineering talent.

  • Lead and mentor recruiting teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, and driving urgency and outcomes with senior hiring leaders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, providing data-driven recruiting insights and detailed updates that drive broad access and visibility.

  • Drive connected outcomes with urgency across global engineering teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with at least 5 years of demonstrated success in leading and closing complex searches for senior engineering leaders (e.g., Directors, VPs of Engineering, CTOs).

  • Deep understanding of the engineering leadership marketplace, including engagement methodologies, and an extensive network within the technology industry.

  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives and leadership teams, providing strategic guidance on market trends, compensation, and competitive landscapes.

  • Exceptional leadership influence, with demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and coaching recruiting professionals, including setting performance metrics and driving accountability.

  • A strategic mindset with a sense of urgency, capable of building recruiting strategies for unique hiring territories and quickly mobilizing on opportunities to outmaneuver competitors.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $171,000 - $243,600.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
