Job Summary:

The Brand Advertising Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated brand advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness, enhance consideration, and improve customer retention. This role is responsible for shaping the creative strategy and crafting a compelling value proposition and messaging framework. The position manages the end-to-end asset production pipeline, collaborates with internal and external creative resources-including talent and agency partners-and ensures flawless execution and performance reporting across all touchpoints.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute multi-channel advertising strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Define campaign goals, KPIs, and target audiences, ensuring cohesive storytelling and messaging consistency.
  • Translate marketing goals into clear, actionable briefs for creative teams and partners.
  • Guide the development of creative concepts, copywriting, visual elements, and storytelling assets for campaigns.
  • Lead production timelines, reviews, approvals, and quality control for all advertising materials.
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, and content creators to ensure brand-aligned output.
  • Partner with internal and external creative agencies, media partners, and production vendors.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, and deliverables with creative and media agencies.
  • Identify and manage on-camera talent, influencers, or voiceover artists as required.
  • Oversee the implementation of advertising campaigns across TV, DRTV, CTV, radio, streaming audio, high impact, digital, print, social, and out-of-home channels, etc.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness through reporting and analytics; provide insights and optimizations.
  • Maintain brand health metrics and competitive benchmarking to inform future campaigns.
  • Ability to successfully and independently project manage multi-projects, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in the communication of mass advertising activity to the broader organization, and keep stakeholders informed of media schedules, creative rotations, production schedules, etc.
  • Assists with the reconciliation and management of mass advertising budget, keeping key stakeholder abreast of requests and approvals.
  • Work closely with agency partners, stakeholders, brand strategy, media planning, go-to-marketing, and customer insights teams.
  • Serve as a brand steward, ensuring all advertising touchpoints meet brand guidelines and tone.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and quarterly business reviews.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid 3 days/week in office
  • Office location: Houston
  • Travel 5-10%

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years in advertising agency experience, B2C brand advertising, integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven track record managing high-impact advertising campaigns across multiple channels (TV, DRTV, CTV, radio, streaming audio, high impact, digital, print, social, and out-of-home channels, etc.)
  • Experience working with and managing creative agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Has a passionate drive for process development, process improvement, attention to detail and project management.
  • Self-motivated, ability to plan and collaboratively run projects independently.
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills; solid business acumen, able to clearly communicate objectives and outcomes with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams, streamline complex feedback and present material to a variety of audiences.
  • Has experience in creative strategy, development and execution of advertising campaigns
  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to deliver against aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and projects through cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Basic understanding of adverting budget management.
  • Ability to be effective in ambiguity.
  • Clear appetite for learning; can show how newly gained knowledge and skill can be applied on the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has advertising agency experience and B2C brand advertising
  • Proven track record managing complex high-impact advertising campaigns across multiple channels (TV, DRTV, CTV, radio, streaming audio, high impact, digital, print, social, and out-of-home channels)
  • Experience with advertising campaign development, production management and budgeting, talent selection, negotiation, and talent compliance
  • Experience working with and managing large creative agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and executing National brand campaigns
  • Experience working with on-screen and voice over talent
  • Experience managing campaign budgets, developing SOW, negotiating contracts
  • Experience with brand measurement tools (e.g., Innovoid, Nielsen, Kantar, Google Brand Lift,etc)
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and persona development
  • An understanding of communication and media planning to support advertising campaigns
  • Passion for staying current with advertising trends, consumer behavior, and creative innovation

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong strategic thinking, with an ability to translate business goals into creative campaigns
  • Excellent storytelling, messaging, and brand communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with advertising production processes-from concept to final asset delivery
  • Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and optimizing campaigns based on data
  • Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator, collaborative team player, and capable leader under tight timelines; effectively streamline complex messages and feedback

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, bending, sitting, reaching, standing, manual dexterity may be necessary
