Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies. Community Liaison/Business Development

The Community Liaison implements the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of facility business development and strategic planning. The Community Liaison market hospital services to physicians, mental health professionals, EAP's and other professionals thereby strengthening facility relationships with these resources.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive working relationships with all disciplines.
  • Maintains composure, tact during stressful interactions.
  • Skillful in telephone etiquette.
  • Demonstrates understanding how position supports the goals of the department and vision of the organization, including how it supports other departments and processes within the organization.
  • Strives for professional growth based on identified strengths and weaknesses.
  • Promote and consistently support a strong customer service culture to all employees and contract personnel. Must demonstrate a "can do" attitude and foster respect, courtesy, helpfulness, and teamwork in relationships with staff and external customer base.
  • Research prospective business development opportunities.
  • Complete a Monthly Operating Report (MOR).
  • Participate in giving facility tours, having an excellent understanding of facility layout as well as programming offered.
  • Participate in development and execution of business development special events.
  • Effectively demonstrates knowledge of patient age groups (child, adolescent, adult and geriatric) & specific programs related to each.
  • Working knowledge of software; log daily interactions with referral sources.
  • Provide hospital spirituality groups; document group note
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by CEO or Director of Business Development.

  • High School Degree/GED - Bachlor's preferred.
  • Familiarity and connections with local community and experience working in healthcare preferred
  • Valid Kentucky Driver's License w/ good driving record
  • Public speaking skills - comfrotable speaking to small & large groups
  • Social Media Knowledge
