The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overall product fulfillment processes within the Regional Hub and Spoke operations to positively impact safety, quality, delivery and cost. Essential Duties & Functions:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and develop a high-performing team across all departments. Set strategic goals and KPIs for the distribution center. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Drive a continuous improvement and lean culture utilizing the ZEBS methodology. Responsible for the development of facility budget and monthly forecast updates.
Operations Management
Oversee daily operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping. Ensure efficient layout and space utilization. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs). Optimize the receiving, storage, shipping and late point configuration process functions. Execute to a performance driven culture with a focus on KPI's such as on-time delivery, inventory availability, line fulfillment and operational costs.
Financial Oversight
Develop and manage the distribution center's budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Technology & Systems
Customer Service
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). 7+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven history of customer satisfaction success both internally & externally Leadership and team building Building collaborative relationships throughout the enterprise Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
