Position Title: Set-Up Operator
Wage: $19.00/hour + $2.50/hour Shift Differential Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm - 1:00am (Monday - Friday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Set-Up Operator at a company in Mundelein, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply today! Set-Up Operator Responsibilities: - Start, operate and shut down sorting machines - Monitor machines and ensure accurate, efficient sorting of products - Identify minor machine issues and perform basic troubleshooting - Remove defective products and make sure finished goods meet quality standards - Package sorted products into labeled cartons - Record production data (quantities, downtime, issues, etc.) - Follow company policies around safety, quality and environmental standards Requirements for Set-Up Operator: - Able to read and follow work instructions, specifications and simple blueprints - Strong focus on quality and attention to detail - Comfortable working independently or on a team - Good communication skills and willingness to learn - Able to stay focused in a fast-paced environment - High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred but not required - Basic mechanical understanding and comfort with production equipment - Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively - Able to stand for extended periods - Able to bend and crouch throughout shift - Manual dexterity - Able to work in noisy environments gurnee@qpsemployment.com IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
