Are you our next Site Manager?


Are you a results-driven, hands-on leader with a passion for technical support and customer service in a high-paced manufacturing environment? Atlas Copco is seeking a proactive and communicative Technical Site Manager to serve as our on-site representative at GM Defense in Concord, NC.


In this role, you'll act as a trusted partner to the GM Defense team, providing real-time troubleshooting, data configuration, and coordination of tool-related support. This is a solo, on-site position ideal for someone who is technically confident, self-sufficient, and thrives on building strong customer relationships.


How You'll Make an Impact:


* On-Site Technical Support: Serve as the go-to resource for tool support, system configuration, and troubleshooting of Atlas Copco products.


* Database Management: Manage, update, and run queries within production databases to ensure tool and system data accuracy.


* Network & Systems Support: Act as the first line of defense for diagnosing basic network and IT-related issues affecting tooling systems.


* Customer Communication: Build strong working relationships with GM Defense teams, providing real-time updates, clear communication, and service excellence.


To succeed, you will need

Technical Proficiency:



  • Comfortable navigating data systems and configuring tool settings (SQL experience is a plus but not required)
  • Advanced knowledge of networking and IT systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues


Industry Knowledge:



  • Familiarity with industrial tools, automation, or production equipment


Soft Skills:



  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders


Education:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field is highly preferred
