Job Purpose:

The Control Tower Manager is responsible for the centralized oversight, coordination, and optimization of the global supply chain ecosystem supporting a customer. This role ensures seamless, real-time visibility, orchestration, and proactive management of supply chain nodes, including vendors, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and logistics partners worldwide.

This strategic leader must operate as an autonomous, self-directed, and results-oriented professional, capable of making decisions and driving initiatives with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with corporate objectives.

The manager also owns the consolidation and direction of customer forecasts according to customer-provided allocations, ensuring demand signals are properly captured, analyzed, and executed. Mastery of waterfall analysis, demand management processes, and advanced planning (with a strong focus on forecast accuracy) is critical to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

In addition, the Control Tower Manager holds full accountability for the warehouse operation, managing its resources, personnel, and processes to ensure optimal inventory accuracy, space utilization, and material flow. This includes ensuring that warehouse activities are seamlessly integrated with the overall supply chain strategy, enabling responsiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The warehouse is considered a critical component of the supply chain performance, and its effective management is a core responsibility of this role.

This manager leverages advanced analytics, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce friction, improve agility, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute Control Tower strategies to ensure full visibility, control, and alignment of global supply chain operations.
  • Consolidate and direct customer forecasts in alignment with customer allocation guidelines, ensuring appropriate distribution of supply commitments across the network.
  • Lead and institutionalize robust demand management processes that align forecast and supply plans, minimizing mismatches and driving forecast accuracy.
  • Perform waterfall analysis regularly to evaluate forecast performance, highlight gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage, coordinate, and monitor vendor and plant performance in multiple regions, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Control Tower, providing real-time insights, proactive risk mitigation, and timely resolution of escalations.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with global vendors, internal plant managers, and warehouse teams to drive collaborative decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the implementation of advanced tools for automation, predictive analytics, and API-based integrations to optimize responsiveness and eliminate manual processes.
  • Negotiate and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and internal sites to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as OTD, inventory levels, E&O, supplier performance, exception management, and forecast accuracy metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to avoid supply chain disruptions and enhance resilience.
  • Direct and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring effective use of space, inventory control, material handling, workforce productivity, and alignment with corporate safety and compliance standards. The warehouse must operate as an integral part of the supply chain strategy, supporting demand fulfillment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the global supply chain network.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, trade regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Lead and develop the Control Tower team, including warehouse staff, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.

The Control Tower Manager must ensure seamless coordination and performance of vendors and plants worldwide while enabling operational excellence and customer satisfaction


Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in supply chain operations, vendor management, or control tower leadership, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industries as a manager.
  • Proven ability to consolidate customer forecasts, manage allocation-driven planning, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience in waterfall analysis and demand management best practices.
  • Expertise in supply chain visibility solutions, predictive analytics, process automation, and advanced planning tools.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, Kinaxis, and digital reporting tools.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
