Stericycle is seeking a Maintenance Technician at their brand new Incinerator Facility in McCarran, NV

Stay-On Bonus: $3000.00

• $500 paid after 60 days
• $750 paid after 6 months
• $1750 paid after 12 months

Compensation:
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S is $27.64 to $34.00 based on experience, + Night Shift Differential. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday 5am to 5pm, and every other Wednesday 5am to 5pm. (Or) Thursday-Saturday 5am to 5pm, and every other Wednesday 5am to 5pm.
Required: Industrial Maintenance Experience
Required: Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle.

Under direction, perform all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant.

* Performs diagnostic evaluation on equipment and make repairs when needed.
* Ensures that repairs are performed properly in the shortest amount of time possible to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.
*Performs preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis on a variety of machinery within the plant. This machinery includes:
*fire tube boiler and ancillary equipment, steam delivery systems, water softeners and other water treatment equipment, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.
*incinerator process equipment/systems maintenance, including burners, CEMs , high temperature refractory, controls, PLC, combustion air blowers, pressure controls and conveyance systems.
*steam turbine and electrical generator systems.
*air pollution control devices, to include bag houses, evaporative coolers, acid absorbers, and carbon beds.
*general air pneumatics, including air compressor, regulators, solenoid valves, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps and related systems.
*Performs light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment to include 480V/240V/120V/24V powers systems.
* PLC and light robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience helpful.
*Performs any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy and efficient facility and vigorously support Stericycle's commitment to Safety.
*Documents results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.
*Performs other related duties as required or requested.

*Education equivalent to Associates Degree from two-year college or technical school, or the equivalent in related work experience.
*Three or more years related experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify and perform repairs that are needed and to assure scheduled production run.
*Must have experience with the use of forklifts, man-lifts, and various rigging equipment in the performance of maintenance activities.
*Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license is helpful.
*Must have experience with the performance of lockout/tag out and permit confined space programs related to maintenance activities.
*Must have experience with general air pneumatics, including air compressor operation and maintenance, regulator replacement, solenoid valve replacement, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps and general system troubleshooting.
*Demonstrates the ability to use all power tools associated with metal machining to include: power drills, chop saws, reciprocating saw, grinder and pneumatic hammers.
*Must be able to use soldering/brazing torches, and acetylene torches for cutting steel.
*Must be able to use a welder to fuse carbon steel and perform repairs.
*Knowledge of how to maintain a hydraulic system and the ability to read hydraulic flow diagrams is preferred.
*The ability to weld stainless steel or higher alloys and to operate a TIG welder is a plus.
