Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Urology ranging from $351,221 to $405,251. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Urology, is seeking an outstanding Urologist at the Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor level.

Criteria for the Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.

Applicants with clinical expertise in pelvic floor disorders, neurogenic bladder, and lower urinary tract symptoms in both males and females, as well as experience with bladder augmentation and urinary diversion, will receive priority consideration. As the only academic center in Orange County, there is a robust referral pattern and high surgical volume.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start):

Candidates must have a valid California medical license, a California fluoroscopy, and a DEA Certificate. The candidate must be board-eligible or certified and fellowship trained in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical care of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery patients and support our mission of discover, teach, and heal at our main campus and community-based or affiliate clinical sites.
