Production Planner I - Temporary

This position is for a Production Planner 1 that focuses on coordinating and optimizing packaging production schedules to ensure execution of the production plan based on Global Planning inputs. The involves analyzing demand, managing inventory levels and working closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiently. Using SAP MRP/scheduling tools, the planner with monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, inventory, capacity, yields, scrap, and product life cycles.

How You'll Make An Impact:




  • Maintains and establishes production schedules (ERP system or manual Kanban) with input from key departments (production, purchasing, quality control, marketing, supply planning).
  • Ensures optimal production flow through finite scheduling, data analysis, and resolving routine issues.
  • Generates and analyzes data, running reports and offering scheduling recommendations.
  • Resolves production schedule messages and issues raised by production personnel.
  • Handles routine to moderate scheduling tasks with limited scope and complexity.
  • Seeks supervisor guidance for non-routine issues.
  • Follows established processes, work instructions, and policies.
  • Reviews work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develops reports and tools to improve workflow and efficiency.


What You Bring:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management, or related field.
  • APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with ERP systems or in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience in general production planning/scheduling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues.


Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $33 to $44.66 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
