Develop PowerShell scripts and tooling to automate deployment, observability, and reporting. Build and support IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Azure cloud environment. Create and carry out software test plans to improve reliability. Design and deploy Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps. Configure and maintain servers, storage systems, orchestration, and observability platforms. Build quality and consistency into an automated software build and release process. Contribute to software monitoring and team dashboard alerts. Implement and embed Site Reliability Engineering processes in the day-to-day operation of KPMG's Global Azure infrastructure. Suggest and implement observability measures based on review of deployed infrastructure services. Review, enhance, and refine existing observability metrics. Define error budgets. Support global Azure infrastructure with tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and Azure Kubernetes Services. Work in a fast-paced Agile environment using Azure DevOps to accomplish features that improve operations and reduce TOIL by developing automated solutions. Increase infrastructure stability and uptime. Coordinate, plan, automate and/or implement complex change activities related to software development. Document all work effort via DevOps and Confluence. Provide escalation technical support with technical teams and outsourced provider(s). Attend Meetings for both internal and with our third-party Vendors (Problem, Incident and Change). Assist with the development of Proof of Concepts or MVP solutions. Elicit requirements using face-to-face or virtual tools working across a globally distributed stakeholder community. Develop user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, test plans, technical process diagrams, solution documentation. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Building and supporting IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Azure cloud environment via automation tooling; Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Repositories; YAML Pipelines, Site Reliability Engineering Principles, including Monitoring, Observability, Release Automation, Grafana, and TOIL Elimination; Drawing technical diagrams and drafting technical documentation; Using Azure DevOps, Git, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Azure Monitor, and SCOM; Agile/SCRUM working methodologies; and Developing PowerShell scripts.
