Job Purpose

The Digital Purchase Value Stream within Honda's Customer Experience Division is leading a transformation in how customers buy vehicles. At the heart of this initiative is Digital Sales, designed to create a seamless, transparent, and efficient purchasing experience that aligns with Honda's Product Values while enabling an omnichannel business model.

As an analyst, you'll be the strategic partner to Value Stream leaders, helping them understand key projects and how they contribute to Honda's long-term vision. The biggest focus? Optimizing Digital Sales-where driving efficiencies in labor, inventory, and sales is critical to AHM's future strategy. Your insights will play a key role in shaping this transformation.

Beyond Digital Sales, you'll work on major integrations, including financing solutions with AHFC, real-time dealer ordering and vehicle tracking, and smarter customer communication strategies to maximize engagement between order and delivery. You'll also help develop Flexible Leasing and Trade options to boost customer loyalty, integrate a pricing engine that makes BEV sales viable and ICE sales more profitable, and support AI/ML-powered Product and Service Recommendations to elevate the buying experience.

Key Accountabilities



  • Assist in analyzing digital purchase transformation efforts within the organization, including design, coordination, analysis, and communication
  • Work with each of the projects/products to help achieve the Value Stream vision through analysis and proposals
  • Be the voice of the Value Stream from the program team in executive presentations
  • Work closely with Value Stream leads to perform analysis and create proposals
  • Under the direction of Value Streamleadership and in coordination with project/product leadership, perform analysis leading to data-led recommendations, tracking, and reporting to improve the online retailing process across the business
  • Work with the business units from across the enterprise together and analyze data, resulting in proposals that achieve business objectives
  • Work with appropriate business units, divisions, and departments to ensure proposals are feasible and align with stakeholder requirements
  • Give efficiency feedback in the design and development process
  • Assist in the determination of appropriate KPI to measure efficiency in the process
  • Work with Sales, the field, and dealers to monitor efficiency
  • Evaluate and guide market analysis of online retailing and programs
  • Inform, collaborate on Digital Sales activity
  • Collaborate on the Digital Sales role to achieve business objectives and KPIs
  • Analyze related projects/products for effective proposals impacting online



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience with 2 years working for an automobile manufacturer or related company
  • Automotive industry experience is a requirement
  • Familiarity with working in a technology-focused IT environment is required
  • Experience working with incentives and offers preferred
  • Knowledge of Automotive tier 1 and 3 sales concepts. Experience preferred working in a field organization and/or dealer network
  • Knowledge of dealership operations and an understanding of dealer-facing change management efforts are preferred. Knowledge of digital sales and marketing at the dealer and OEM level is preferred
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management and senior executives
  • Ability to advocate for change
  • Ability to identify obstacles and overcome objections
  • Ability to succeed in a team-oriented, program development environment. Excellent communication, written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Effective management of multiple projects and requests
  • Knowledge of technical project methodologies and processes (Agile, user stories, journey mapping, etc.) preferred



Working Conditions



  • Limited travel (10% of the time)
  • Developing Value Stream Strategies and Plans
  • Creating Presentations to Communicate Strategies - Must be a compelling presenter
  • Analyzing Data and correlating performance
  • Hybrid working environment (office 4 days/wk, remote)
