Job Description Summary: The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for clerical work on the Worker's Compensation Team to ensure smooth operations. This role processes mail, answers phones, and ensures money exchanges are completed accurately. Job Description
  • Open / process the incoming and outgoing mail as well as scanning incoming mail to the electronic file once it has been processed.
  • Print and process checks with EOB's.
  • Process manual payments then scan into claims system
  • Process refunds
  • Codes documents that have been scanned into the claim system
  • Answers phone, helps caller or directs to the appropriate party.
  • Provides clerical support to the department, which may include copying, faxing, filing and answer internal calls.
  • Other clerical functions as assigned by the department.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
