Finance Transformation Principal

Epicor
United States, Texas, Austin
Jun 17, 2025

About the Role

Epicor is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Finance Transformation Principle to join our growing transformation team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance Transformation, this role will be a key driver of cross-functional programs aimed at modernizing and scaling our financial operations through process excellence, data integrity, and emerging technologies.

You will lead optimization initiatives over data quality improvement (following recent implementation of Salesforce), AI-driven automations, and end-to-end business process enhancements across the Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) lifecycles.

This is a highly cross-functional and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can operate seamlessly across business, systems, and data domains. This will be an individual contributor role.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage finance transformation initiatives spanning system improvements, data governance, and business process optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and deliver AI-driven initiatives (e.g., intelligent ticket analytics, automated exception handling, predictive reporting) that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify AI opportunities and lead the development of required system and integration infrastructure that support successful deployment of finance-related AI tools and automations.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, risk logs, communications, and dashboards to ensure progress, visibility, and alignment with leadership goals.
  • Lead change management, documentation, and training efforts to support adoption and sustainability of transformation initiatives.
  • Drive resolution of post-Salesforce data migration and data quality issues, partnering with RevOps, IT, Sales, Billing, and Data teams to stabilize and scale QTC operations.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to improve financial data pipelines and reporting infrastructure, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and transparency across systems.

What You Will Likely Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in finance transformation, business systems, or enterprise program management.
  • Strong understanding of core financial operations (QTC, R2R, P2P) and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Salesforce CPQ/Billing).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in finance and automation tools.
  • Experience working with product engineering teams on internal AI tool implementation or deployment of enterprise AI platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional programs and lead through influence.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana).

What Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience leveraging OpenAI/equivalent solutions to automate manual work.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ/Billing optimization.
  • Hands-on experiences in QTC and Revenue operations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP system enhancement or implementation.
  • Understanding of data architecture, integrations, or ETL tools (e.g., SQL, Fivetran, Snowflake).
  • PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or relevant certifications.
  • Background in SaaS, ERP, or enterprise software environments.
