Pay

$32.18 - $37.53 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

1st Shift (Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM) 10 hour Shift

Hours subject to change with business needs

On-site; other days and hours as needed

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Construction Electrician to join our Maintenance Department team. A Construction Electrician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components. Key elements to this role include:

• Utilities, Facilities, Transportation, Waste Treatment, and Bulk Systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and document results
• Install boxes, panels, and control systems
• Run conduit and connect to equipment
• Perform maintenance on building control systems
• Communicate effectively with other departments and co-workers about work
• Ability and willingness to work overtime; call-ins and other times as required
• Ability to perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 5 years if industrial / commercial experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Ability to work from blueprints and drawings, build panels, and control system
• Ability to check out wiring connections and terminations
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman's certificate
• 7 years electrical experience in construction/installation
• Completed apprenticeship program in electrical maintenance
• Experience with AC/DC drives and controls
• PLC experience
