DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The County Social Services Aide 1 serves as a Decision Support Center Peer Specialist. You will teach and assist consumers in developing and writing goals, as well as provide input to assist consumers with developing a service plan for their psychiatry appointment. This includes helping consumers access recovery resources related to their individual service plan, in addition to collaborating with other mental health staff to facilitate consumer's goal attainment as part of their treatment plan. You will also assist consumers and their families with activities of daily living and perform related job duties as needed. Become a key part of helpful and supportive communities with our team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Part-time employment
  • Work hours vary, Monday - Friday.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
